1. How should I let you know if I have special dietary requirements?
Please indicate your requirements on the speaker administration form, and we shall be happy to arrange this for you.

2. What is the dress code?
The dress code for the event is business causal; you may put on a suit if you wish.

3. Will my travel expenses be covered?
Speaker travel expenses are not usually covered by Beacon Events; however, we have negotiated a reduced room rate for the hotel accommodation.

4. When should I submit my presentation and biography?
We will appreciate it if you submit presentation and biography 2 - 3 weeks prior to the event, so that we may include the material in the documentation. If you require a deadline extension, please inform us in advance. If you are unable to submit your presentation and biography prior to the printing of the documentation, please be advised that you will need to supply your own presentation handouts onsite. In addition, please be sure to refer back to your abstract when you create your final presentation; your topic should remain as advertised in the brochure.

5. How will my presentation and biography be used?
We will produce a documentation, containing each speaker’s presentation and biography, for attendees to follow along with during the event, and take back to their workplace.

6. What time should I arrive?
Please arrive the venue prior to the commencement of your session; you may network with the session chairman and other speakers during the refreshment / lunch break.

7. Do I need to bring my laptop to the event?
You are welcome to use your own laptop to make the presentation, which we can connect up to the LCD projector. However, we will load up your presentation on our laptop for your use (providing you have submitted it prior to the event). It is advised to bring a back-up copy of your presentation on a CD-Rom / USB thumb drive in case of any technical difficulties.

8. Whom should I contact if I have special AV needs?
Please put down our requirements on the speaker administration form, and we will make the proper arrangement.

9. Can I attend the complete event free of charge?
Yes, you are cordially invited to attend the whole event as our VIP.

10. Can I bring any guests?
A set of 3 discount vouchers will be sent along with the brochure; you may pass them on to your colleagues or peers who are interested in attending the event you are going to speak at.
